Balazuc: you have to reach the opposite bank of the Ardeche to be a sufficient and discover this beautiful village classified among the most beautiful villages in France. Balazuc was occupied the eighth and ninth centuries by the Moors, but its current architecture is composed of elements from the thirteenth to the eighteenth century. Previously protected by fortifications, the houses are grouped around the castle, remodeled several times, but retained a portion around the tenth century. (Photo Emile Taillefer)
